The London Overground Train Protection Warning System Richmond to Gunnersbury project (LOTRIG) is installing Train Protection Warning System (TPWS) infrastructure along the shared section of the North London Line / District Line from Richmond to Gunnersbury, which is currently protected through train stops.

The project will enable greater flexibility to LO fleet operations, allowing non-trip cock fitted rolling stock to operate along the route using TPWS only. Completion of the Richmond branch would enable full operational flexibility for the London Overground fleet across the network. The project involves multiple disciplines, requiring a collaborative approach to resolve challenges and deliver within the project timescales.
