As part of the West Coast Main Line Traction Power Supply upgrades and future planned ERTMS upgrades to replace existing legacy signalling systems. OSL are engaged to undertake the signalling supply upgrades for Phase ‘A’ from Crewe Main Line station to Euxton, Nr Wigan.

The principle scope of works included the design of new power supply Infrastructure, Installation, Test, Commissioning and to bring into service by March 2014.

OSL were commissioned to provide the following advanced services prior to work commencing:
Provision of Surveys for the power proposed new power supplies, from the PSP’s to the all the existing LOC’s
Advanced design of long lead equipment items, such PSPs, FSPs and ASPs
Proving of UTXs for the new cable routes
