OSL Supports Egis on Cross River Rail Signalling Design in Brisbane
OSL Global is proud to be supporting Egis on one of Australia’s most significant rail infrastructure programmes, Cross River Rail in Brisbane.
Cross River Rail is a 10.2km new railway under Brisbane’s CBD, with four new underground stations and a major role to play in strengthening the city’s transport network ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The programme is a major investment in urban rail infrastructure, designed to increase capacity, improve connectivity and support the long-term growth of public transport across the region.
Egis has recently been announced as the preferred signalling design delivery team for the North package, building on its existing delivery of the South package.
Having supported Egis on the South package since last year, OSL is pleased to continue working closely with their team as the North package develops.
Supporting complex signalling design delivery
OSL’s support covers key signalling design and technical deliverables across multiple phases of work on the scheme.
This includes Microlok and SSI interlocking data, control tables and off-site principles testing, supporting the wider signalling design process on a technically demanding rail programme.
The work requires close collaboration between project teams, clear management of technical interfaces and strong signalling expertise across both design and testing activities.
For complex rail infrastructure schemes, particularly those delivered across international teams and standards, the ability to manage technical detail clearly and consistently is critical.
International rail capability
Cross River Rail also reflects OSL Global’s ability to support complex rail infrastructure programmes outside the UK.
On the scheme, OSL is providing specialist signalling design and technical support, including Microlok and SSI interlocking data, control tables and off-site principles testing.
This work draws on OSL’s wider signalling capability across interlocking data preparation, control table testing, principles testing, functional testing, systems integration and off-site testing support.
Continuing our support
It is technically demanding work on a major international programme, and exactly the kind of challenge OSL’s signalling team is built to support.
We are proud of the OSL team contributing to the programme and look forward to continuing our support as the scheme progresses.
